My great-grandmother was a BARTLEBAUGH. Her father was Columbus Bartlebaugh and his brother was Cornelius. Columbus seemed to have just disappeared and probably not to a sailing accident.
Most of this family settled in the Indiana Co., Pennsylvania area by the early and mid 20th Century. I welcome all queries but I usually defer to dedicated Bartlebaugh researchers, especially cousin Elaine (Bartlebaugh) Schenk, originally from Pennsylvania but now lives in The Netherlands.
